2011 New Halloween Asylum masks buy

During the mist of this season of prop building i am trying to build more then make. I ordered these 2 new masks from halloween asylum to get there current deal of spend $60 ship for $5. Its a great site and very cool props! I got The rotting Ralph mask i believe its called and the nailed mask. I will leave it to you guys to figure out which is which. The rotting ralph mask i will use for a zombie in the graveyard im thinking 2 small cylinders under each arm causing them to flail as he stands in a staggered position. As for the other mask it was cool andi bought it to make the bundle deal! I reccomend everyone goes and checks out halloweenasylum.com. Nancy Cote runs the site and she is also a member of Halloween forum. You can see the on my flickt page under yard haunters photos as well as my youtube channel.

Chuckie prop completion

I finished the static chuckie prop. I decided to make him static because of the way i designed the pvc frame i couldnt make my sinpmle arm animation work without the arms being so off! Hes 4 feet tall and creepier then ever!

Skull column toppers!

I made these very cool skull column toppers today thatd id quickly like to share with you. It took me about 10 minutes and only cost around 10 bucks!
I bought 2 skulls from a halloween aftersale at Target! Then i bought LED eyes (AC) online for about 7 bucks. I drilled eyelets in the skull and made a cut out in the bottom of the skull under the jaw until i made a connection from the eyelets to the hole i dug in the bottom. I snaked the wire up and out the eyes then glued them in place! Should make a great prop for my columns i plan to build this summer! your surely to see that too later on this season!

Chucky progress!!

I recently tore all the mechanics out of my chucky prop because it was just too loud with the wiper motor and i couldnt take it. I am going to have linkage from the arm to the motor at th waist and it will be a simple arm animation. I bought an air vent motor and when it arrives i will give you all a running video of what it looks like! Heres a snippet at what it looks like as it sits. Its pretty bare:(
